Contribute
If you are interested in contributing to the
toolbox please contact me. Contribution
includes bug
reports, feature
requests, and code you
would like to incorporate into the toolbox.
The toolbox is a work in progress and I am continuously working to
expand it to satisfy my
needs. I would like to encourage others to
let me know of uses they are interested in and that may fall within
the scope of the toolbox.
My efforts currently are directed toward
writing code that will allow to perform statistical analyses of high-resolution
imaging using SPM
combined with surface based rendering.
How
to cite SPM SurfRend in your publication
If you want to acknowledge use of this software
when you publish your research, you might say something like this, "For
the purpose of
additional anatomical precision, group contrasts
were overlaid on a surface based representation of the MNI canonical
brain using the SPM
surfrend toolbox (written by I. Kahn; http://spmsurfrend.sourceforge.net)." If
you use FreeSurfer for visualization and figure production
please
add, "The surfaces were then rendered using FreeSurfer (CorTechs
Labs, Inc., Charlestown, MA) (Dale,
Fischl, & Sereno, 1999;
Fischl,
Sereno, & Dale, 1999)."
